Image taken by my best buddy - AB

Welcome! I’m a wildlife and nature photographer based in the United Kingdom with over 20 years of experience behind the lens. My journey began with an insatiable curiosity from a young age for the natural world, and over time, I’ve honed my skills to capture its raw beauty, from the tranquil stillness of woodlands to the untamed majesty of wildlife.

My passion lies in creating authentic, immersive imagery that brings people closer to nature. I believe that the best photographs aren’t just taken—they’re earned. That’s why you’ll often find me camping under the stars in the Scottish Highlands or spending crisp autumn mornings hidden in the fields, patiently waiting for that perfect shot of a soaring buzzard or a shy pine marten. Whether it’s the fleeting moment a kingfisher dives for its prey or the soft light filtering through a forest, I strive to tell the story of these moments with my lens.

Having worked across a range of genres, I’ve learned to adapt and thrive in various environments. But it’s my deep connection to the outdoors that fuels my passion for wildlife photography. I’m not just an observer—I’m part of the landscape, which allows me to capture intimate and unique images that others might miss.

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m probably planning my next adventure—whether it’s hiking, bike packing or camping in the mountains or tracking wildlife through the forests. My approach is simple: patience, respect for nature, and a commitment to creating art that inspires a deeper appreciation for the world around us.

If you share my love for the outdoors or are looking for someone who understands how to blend art with authenticity, let’s connect. I’m always excited to collaborate with like-minded individuals who value both the beauty and the importance of nature.

So what may you ask are my favourite subjects of the nature world?

My favourite birds: Kingfisher, Goshawk and the Golden Eagle

My favourite Animals: This is a tough one but I would have to go with: The Badger, Pine Martin and Otter

Each of the above have been challenging in different aspects to capture and in different challenging environments.

If you wish to chat or you have an opportunity which may interest me then please get in touch.
